Adding Recent Items Portlets

The Recent Items portlet shows a list of items that have been recently modified across the site (rather than only those from a single folder or a single type). This portlet can be a great way to notify your site users about content that has been recently added to the site.

1. Make sure you are logged into your site.

2. Navigate to the the page on which you wish to add the portlet and click Manage portlets in the area where you want to add the portlet.

3. On the same side you will see a number of gray boxes with the names of portlets that have already been created.

4. Above the portlets, click Add portlet….

5. Scroll down and select Recent items.

6. Enter in the number of items to be displayed in the portlet.

7. Click Save.

8. To exit the portlet management screen, click the “Return” button in the center panel of the page.
